I am proud to announce John Goode as one of our newest managers for operations.  He has given many of his own hours to help grow MedStar Solutions and has been working hard in the continuation of current clients and gaining new contacts resulting in the multiple new contracts we have secured.

I also want to introduce Mark Prewett as one of our new Supervisors.  Mark will be overseeing our clinical compliance and is working with business development as we continue growth in providing more venues with our incredible team of providers.

New Year's Eve Block Party

Event Medical Services starts off 2017 in downtown Phoenix
MedStar Solutions kicks off the New Year providing medical staffing for a major block party in downtown Phoeinx AZ.  Thousands of party enthusiasts come with friends and family to celebrate the start of new thrills and adventures as the clock strikes midnight ringing in 2017.
Two city blocks in downtown Phoenix were shut down as exciting vehicle displays provided by Walter Productions were placed around one of the large areas playing music from Kalaeopi syncronized with lighting, smoke, and flame effects.  Other stages were also set up to entertain guests being hosted by the popular Crescent Ballroom.

Although a cold and damp night with occasional sprinkles from the cloudy sky, the spirits of those celebrating were not affected by weather and danced to great music, ate incredible food, and shared in the bar atmosphere.

Medical personnel from MedStar were on hand in case of any illness or injury, however, the event was well produced with very few incidents allowing the staff and guests to enjoy the evening and toast in the New Year.  This event kicks off the many current and new events that our team will be providing service for and we look forward to meeting new prospects, partners, and friends along the way. Happy New Year!

Continuing Education is an on going process for all MedStar Solutions Providers

COAR TRAINING
In preparation for our new upcoming contracts in 2017 MedStar has been busy recruiting experienced EMT's and Paramedics to provide care to current and new events and venues. We have had multiple onboarding days which have incldued basic orientation to the organziation, it's structure, and ideals.  Although conducted in a casual environment, all new personnel must complete the various modules in order to be cleared to work in the field.
COAR Training is the basics of the organizational structure, protocols, and expectations.  A key element covers our branded version of the Guest Experience and the importance of our role while still ensuring all guests, participants, and clients are taken care of in the best manner possible.

As we work heavily with sports-related clients and care for their players we give continuing education classes on Concussion Protocol and Recognition as well as Overall Sports Injuries.

During this education session, all of our new providers will be reviewed on their skills to include bandaging/splinting, assessments, high-risk refusal scenarios and all of our EMT's and Paramedics get reviewed and checked off on IV starts to ensure the knowledge necessary to be compliant with our Hydration Protocols.  Additional openings are still available.
